The Woolhope Club has been publishing journals, books and pamphlets since 1866, when its first volume of Transactions was issued. In addition to the yearly Transactions there have been anniversary volumes, celebration issues, special volumes and cumulative indexes detailed below. The Club’s special interest sections have produced their own journals: for the Archaeology Research Section HAN (Herefordshire Archaeological News) from 1966 to 1983 and for Geology Earth Matters which is ongoing. It has supported and continues to support publications on Herefordshire, latterly by grants from the Geoffrey Walter Smith fund. Some of the more recent issues are available for purchase (£5.00 plus postage) by contacting the Treasurer who will give more details.

Increasingly the Club will publish some articles and monographs in an online form, which you will find under the ‘Web Publications’ sub-heading. ‘Pre-2012 Club Publications’ lists past paper-based publications some of which will be made available via links on the list.
