National Organisations
Herefordshire Victoria County History or VCH
A new VCH website is in preparation as at August 2019 but information on publications about Herefordshire can be found by going to the site's home page and following the links.
British History Online is associated with the VCH. It can be searched freely for many historical records and publications e.g. county histories, though some sources are only available on subscription.
Historical Association Hereford branch
The Mortimer History Society For those interested in the medieval Mortimer family and its association with Wigmore and the Welsh Marches

The Offa's Dyke Association exists to promote the conservation, improvement and better knowledge of the Welsh Border region along the Offa's Dyke Path.
